Meet Neal Henegar, Kambo Provider

Founder and Master Teacher, Neal Henegar

Neal Henegar is a Master Kambo Practitioner, leading researcher of frog medicine and Phyllomedusa peptides, and a passionate advocate for ancestral healing traditions. With a unique blend of science, shamanic wisdom, and traditional healing, Neal’s teachings have earned him the nickname “Indiana Jones of Frog Medicine” for his relentless exploration of the untapped potential of Amazonian peptides.

Neal’s journey began at just 11 years old, fueled by a desire to connect with his Native American heritage and ancestral roots. His deep dive into indigenous healing practices led him to study with the shamans of Peru’s Sacred Valley and the Amazonian Yawanawá tribe, where the Kambo Frog originates. These immersive experiences formed the foundation of his practice, inspiring a lifetime of learning and teaching.

As a Cherokee bone-setting chiropractor and co-founder of NeoMatrix Medical, a stem cell research company, Neal’s early frustrations with modern medicine’s inability to effectively address chronic and autoimmune diseases drove him to seek alternative paths to healing. This pursuit brought him to the Amazon, where he learned traditional Kambo practices directly from indigenous tribes, gaining profound insight into their ancestral methods.

While honoring the sacred roots of Kambo, Neal recognized the need to adapt its application to address the complexities of Western physiology, including pharmaceutical influences and modern diagnoses. To bridge these gaps, Neal developed a comprehensive training program that integrates traditional Amazonian wisdom with modern science, offering practitioners the tools to meet the unique needs of their clients.

Neal’s dedication to Kambo and indigenous medicine has taken him around the globe, studying with shamans and elders from various traditions. He has apprenticed under Yaqui Elder and Sundance Peace Chief Sonne Reyna, incorporating a diverse range of cultural arts, rituals, and healing modalities into his practice.

Since his first transformative Kambo experience with the Yawanawá tribe in 2015, Neal has continued to explore the depth of frog medicine, completing multiple cycles of detox and forging a profound connection with the spirit of the Kambo Frog (Phyllomedusa Bicolor). Feeling called to share this life-changing medicine, Neal now offers Kambo Frog Detox ceremonies and training programs to clients and students.

With over 25 certifications in various healing arts, Neal is a nationally licensed massage therapist, yoga instructor, Qi Gong teacher, and practitioner of native medicine. He also facilitates soul retrieval coaching programs and rite-of-passage ceremonies, supporting young adults and those struggling with addiction or depression.

Through his teachings, Neal combines indigenous traditions with Chinese energy meridians to strategically address emotional, mental, energetic, and physical blocks, empowering students and clients alike to achieve profound healing and transformation.
